Distressed Children & Infants International
DCI is working towards a future where all children have a chance at a dignified and successful life. They believe education is the key to ending poverty cycle, stopping child labor and early marriage. They provide education, healthcare, and skill development opportunities to youth and their families in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Nicaragua so they can thrive and lift up themselves, their families and communities. DCI also seeks to connect privileged children to less fortunate disadvantaged children in the United States as well as in other countries around the world, educating them about the challenges they are facing. Thus developing their empathy and responsibilities and inspiring them to take leadership in humanitarian causes; in this way we hope to nurture responsible and compassionate world citizens and future leaders.
Green Mountain Aid
Green Mountain Aid’s mission is to build mental health resilience through increasing access to holistic, culturally responsive services for refugees and asylees in Vermont and beyond. Organizational goals include the following:
1. Provide mental health services, including psychotherapy and case management.
2. Increase availability of mental health services by providing consultation and training to mental health clinicians and agencies.
3. Collaborate with community organizations to aid in accessing social services, obtain basic needs and access mental health services.
4. Provide evaluations and training for N648 medical waivers.
5. Provide training and consultation on working with interpreters in mental health settings.
6. Provide outreach to stakeholders to ensure culturally responsive and pertinent services.
7. Aid families in supporting loved ones from whom they are separated.
8. Advocate with agencies and government to ensure access to these services are being prioritized.
Windham Community Food Network
The Windham Community Food Network is an alliance of diverse community members, farmers, businesses, agencies, and partners who are working together to build relationships, share ideas, and develop projects to promote access to healthy food, generate economic opportunities, and promote diverse community participation in problem-solving for the Windham Region. Their mission is to “create opportunities for the community by building a healthy food network.”
HIV Medicine Association
The HIV Medicine Association is a community of health care professionals who advance a comprehensive and humane response to the HIV pandemic, informed by science and social justice. Their strategic priorities are to (1) Increase access to health care services and coverage for populations at risk for HIV and people with HIV; (2) Sustain and build a robust, diverse, and culturally competent HIV workforce; (3) Focus advocacy and communications to increase access to comprehensive health care services and coverage and reduce health inequities; and (4) Engage in education and advocacy to support, expand, and diversify the HIV workforce to decrease health disparities with a special focus on key populations and underserved communities.

Common Ground is a center for learning and leadership, inviting people across ages and identities to connect to their urban environment, build community, grow into their full potential, and contribute to a just and sustainable world.

As a whole, Common Ground is a center for environmental learning and leadership located in New Haven, CT. It is a place where all members of the community – young and elementary-aged children, middle and high school students, the general public, and environmental practitioners – can find connections to the local environment, each other, and opportunities for learning and engagement.

Scholars at Risk protects scholars suffering grave threats to their lives, liberty and well-being by arranging temporary research and teaching positions at institutions in our network as well as by providing advisory and referral services.

MAP Network’s primary work includes connecting service providers, conducting research, and creating tools and resources. Acting as a networking platform and information hub for migrant service providers in the Boston area, the organization aims to help coordinate, strengthen, and bring together the vast and varying services offered by our network members. Our organization works with service providers, academics, students, and researchers to help identify and offer resources for the most pressing issues facing service providers and migrants in the greater Boston area.
